社会发展既存在着客观必然性,又渗透着人们自觉的价值选择。从一定意义上说,社会发展过程就是人们对发展的一种价值选择和价值评价过程。发展研究实质上是人们对社会发展的合理性和合目的性的探寻,是对意义世界的建构和对理想世界的追求。

The development of society contains objective necessity as well as people＇s conscious choice of value. To a certain extent,social development is the process of a kind of value choice and value evaluatio about development. Substantially,the research of development is the exploration of rationality and objective of the social development; the construction of significant world and the pursuit of ideal world.
