摘要
1996年冶金工业遇到了前所未有的困难：上游产品特别是能源人幅度涨价．企业经济效益大面积下滑。部领导多次召开会议研究如何迎接上游产品不断涨价，特别是能源涨价的挑战。积极引导企业树立节能的危机感、紧迫感，制定新的节能工作目标、研究“九五”重大节能措施，引导企业把节能降耗工作抓实抓好，把转变经济增长方式落到实处，增强企业的竞争力。在部领导的正确引导下，1996年冶金节能工作取得了很好成绩：人中型钢铁生产企业全年节能340万tce，创造效益26．7亿元，这是近年来节能降耗最多的一年。
In 1996 the metallurgical industry ran into difficulty never met before: the price of energy rising, economic benefit largely decreasing. The leaders of ministry held meetings many times to discuss how to face the challenge came fr0m the energy price rising, make the enterprises recognizing the importance of saving energy, made out new goals and studied some significant measures for saving energy, made enterprises do best in energy saving and consumtion reducing to realize the economic increase practically and reinforce the enterprise competition. Under the correct guide of ministry leaders, the work of energy saving in metallurgical industry obtained better achivements in 1996: saving energy 0f 3. 40 million tce in large and medium iron and sleel works. creating 26. 7 billion yuan of profit which saved energy and reducee consumption most recent years.
