This paper introduces the application of soft PLC TWINCAT of BECKHOFF Co. in automatic steric warehouse. The paper mainly deals with the structure, hardware configuration, software configuration and its functions of the monitor and control system for the steric warehouse. The new-type soft PLC is of advantages of openness, high efficiency and low cost, which enables it to be more widely used in other fields.
