Information fusion is a new study direction based on system science study, it is made by modern information technology and involving multi-subject interlace. It has extensive theory and application prospect in the military and civil fields. The paper explains the present development situation, function, implements procedure, fusion application algorithm and existing problems, and prospects the development foreground.
