Hasan的GSP(语类结构潜势)理论的主要功能是对跨国公司的生产操作指南进行语类分析,将GSP分析理论运用于高职英语课堂教学中,可以提高学生对此类文体的阅读理解能力,为以后的工作打下坚实基础。

Based on Hasan＇s GSP theory, the paper makes a generic analysis of the users＇ manuals in international companies and applies the theory to English language teaching in vocational colleges so as to improve the students＂ reading ability of such materials and to lay a solid foundation for their future career.
