对环太湖城市圈的再认识

Reflections upon the Circum-Taihu Lake Cities

目前",环太湖城市圈"的概念已越来越清晰,并且合作也显得越来越重要和紧迫。而在国家发改委所制定的《长江三角洲地区区域规划纲要》(送审稿)中,并未提及"环太湖城市圈",这不能不说是一个很大的缺憾。环太湖诸城市应该从建立机制、搭建平台入手,研究制定环太湖城市圈发展规划,且精心加以打造,使其成为长三角发展的又一个极核。

The concept of ＂Circum-Taihu Lake Cities＂ is currently becoming well-defined, which results in the important and imperative need of the inter-city cooperation. However, this concept is not mentioned in the Outline of Yangtze River Delta Planning drafted by the State Development Committee, which is a major drawback of the planning. Starting from the establishment of mechanism and platforms, the circum-Taihu Lake cities should carefully devise the plan of the overall development of the area and render Yangtze River Delta an economic powerhouse through intensive efforts.
