关于校训的思考

An Consideration on School Mottos

目前一些学校校训千篇一律、流于形式、缺乏感染力,同时未能发挥其应有的作用。究其原因,一是不能从本校传统与实际情况出发制定校训;二是缺乏深刻的办学思想;三是制订校训时没有发动广大师生参与;四是制定后不进行宣传、学习、探讨。校训应深深植根于中华传统文化的土壤,贴近学校和学生的实际,体现鲜明的时代精神和素质教育的价值取向,成为校园文化的精髓。

At present, some of the school mottos are more or less the same and follow the same pattern, and therfore they are lack of appeal and become formalistic at the same time, and then their functions are unable to be displayed. Tracing it in its reason, it shows that： （1） the school mottos were not formulated according to the school＇s tradition and the practical circumstances; （2） A profound thought of running a school is short of; （3） the school didn＇t mobilize all the staff and students to participate in the making of the motto; and （4） there isn＇t any propaganda, learning and exploration after the mottos were worked out. The school mottos should be rooted deeply in the soil of the traditional Chinese culture, connected with the school and students＇ themselves, embody the distinctive spirit of time and the value approach of quality education, and become the quintessence of the campus culture.
