摘要
本文运用萨克斯等人的话轮转换理论将口语交谈中的无人说话时段区分为停顿、间隙、冷场和沉默四种现象。在考察大量汉语口语语料的基础上,对沉默所表达的各种意义作了深入细致的归纳分析,阐述了影响沉默意义的几种因素。
This article uses Sacks＇ theory of turn-taking to divide the period of no speech in colloquial conversation into four phenomena：pause, gap, calm and silence. Based on investigating a lot of Chinese colloquial data, it makes a detailed analysis of various kinds of meaning that silence conveys, dwelling on several factors which influence the meaning of silence.
