According to the cooperation agreement with the Tokyo Institute of Technology, the State Key Laboratory of Severe Weather of CAMS sent one PhD student to Japan to participate in the research of a JST （Japan Science and Technology Agency） project, which aims at the new generation earth system model, with the research priorities including the development of the dynamic framework in the new spherical coordinates and the implementation of the up-to-date algorithm of the geophysical fluid dynamic model.
