本文探讨了信息产业、水产信息服务工作的一些基本概念。介绍了信息产业的发展将给信息服务工作带来的变化，提出了水产信息服务工作面临的挑战和对策，呼吁水产信息服务工作在今后一段时期内应在发展数据库产业。
The paper discusses the concept of information industry and fishery information service, introduces the change of information services resulted from the development of information industry, and points out the challenge that fishery information services are facing and the strategies that should be taken in the near future.
