语言中的性别歧视是一个普遍存在的现象,它不单是语言本身的问题,也是对社会歧视现象的反映。本文从称呼、语意贬降、词序等几个方面对英语中的性别歧视现象进行了阐述,并指出大学英语教师在教学中如何尽量回避和淡化这些歧视。

Gender crimination is rampant in language, which is not only a problem of language itself, but also the reflection of social discrimination. This thesis describes those phenomena in English in terms of addressing, positive and negative expression and word order, suggesting that college teachings of English should avoid or soften those discriminations.
