Cooperation in Field Natural Gas between China and Russia and Central Asian Countries

天然气探明储量和产量均居世界第一的俄罗斯利用前苏联时期已形成的独联体国家输气系统,竭力控制相关国家的天然气资源。文章概述了独联体国家输气系统情况,分析了俄罗斯对其他独联体国家输气系统的控制及由此引发的矛盾和冲突,提出了我国与俄罗斯及中亚国家天然气合作应考虑的事项。

With the world largest proved reserve and production in natural gas, Russia has been trying to control gas resources of relevant countries by gas transmission system among CIS countries formed in Soviet period. Conflicts and contradictions therefore occurred between Russia and other CIS countries because of Russia's control on other CIS countries' gas transmission systems. We should consider many factors during cooperation with Russia and Central Asian countries, so the natural gas cooperation projects between China and Russia or Central Asian countries can be carried out successfully.
