Strategic Analysis of and Measures for Construction of Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industrial Park

The advantages for Tianjin Bohai Chemical Industry Group Corporation （TJBCIGC） to construct Bohai Chemical Industrial Park in Binhai New Area are discussed. Based on the successful experience of both domestic and foreign chemical industrial parks, it is suggested TJBCIGC develop the industrial chains as the primary concern in building the Chemical Park, with four major petroleum chemical resources in Binhai New Area, i.e. salt, alkali, oil and natural gas, providing the basis for Bohai Chemical Industrial Park. It is also pointed out that the construction is to embody the integration development and environmental protection to reach the win-win achievement of economy and environment.
