摘要
西部中小历史文化名城在发展过程中,面临着保护历史文化资源和提高城市竞争力的双重命题。针对一些城市的现实困境,提出了通过激活城市历史文化资源以强化城市核心竞争力的整合性思路,并以此为主线,在城市发展策略层面上进行了探讨。
During the progress of modernization,the medium and small historic cities in West China have to face challenges both from conserving their historic legacy and from boosting the competitive power of the cities. It is suggested that the two missions be integrated, that is, to amplify the citys＇ competitive power by activating their historic and cultural resources.
