海口市龙华区2007年农村中小学生营养状况调查

Survey of nutritional status of primary school pupils in rural areas of Longhua District,Haikou City in 2007

目的了解海口市龙华区农村中小学学生营养状况,为该地区进一步制定营养干预措施提供科学依据。方法整群抽取海口市龙华区农村中小学各2所共计1850名7～18岁中小学生进行营养状况调查。结果参加调查的农村中小学生营养不良率为47.78%,以轻度为主,占总体的38.38%,中学生高于小学生,女生高于男生。总体超重率为4.54%,小学生高于中学生。总体肥胖率为5.62%,男生高于女生,不同学习阶段无统计学差异。结论应进一步加强对农村中小学生的营养教育和干预,改善其营养健康状况。

Objective To understand the nutritional status of rural primary pupils and middle school students in Longhua District of Haikou City, and provide scientific evidence for making nutritional intervention in this area. Methods Two rural primary schools and two rural middle schools in Longhua District of Haikou City were cluster sampled. Total of 1 850 students aged from 7 - 18 were surveyed for nutritional status. Results The malnutrition rate of all surveyed students was 47.78 %, and mild malnutrition was the major type, which contributed 38.38% of the sampled population. Malnutrition rates were found higher in middle school students and girls than in pupils and boys. The overweight rate of surveyed students was 4.54 %, higher in primary pupils than in middle school students. The overall obesity rate was 5.62%, and boys had higher obesity rate than girls without significant difference. Conclusion Further health education intervention on nutrition in rural primary pupils and middle school students be strengthened to improve their nutritional status and health conditions.
