云南省大姚县农民预防艾滋病知识知晓状况调查分析

Investigation on the knowledge about AIDS prevention among peasants in Dayao County of Yunnan Province

目的通过对大姚县农村居民对艾滋病知识、态度情况分析,了解该县农村居民对艾滋病知识的掌握程度,探讨农村艾滋病知识的健康教育情况。方法2005年9～10月对云南省大姚县14个乡镇28个村委会的840名农村居民进行了艾滋病预防知识、态度问卷调查。结果大姚县农村居民艾滋病知识平均知晓率为52.86%,男、女性艾滋病知晓情况差异无统计学意义。随着文化程度的增高艾滋病知晓情况增加,汉族的艾滋病知晓情况明显高于其他民族,各乡镇艾滋病知识的知晓情况差异有统计学意义。结论该县农村居民防治艾滋病知识、态度、意识严重缺乏。推行适合山区农村实际的艾滋病健康教育方式势在必行。

Objective The present investigation was designed to get an insight into the situation where rural residents in Dayao county acquired the knowledge about AIDS, through an analysis on the knowledge and attitude to AIDS of peasants in the county, for the development of health education about AIDS in rural areas. Methods Questionnaire investigation on the knowledge and attitude about AIDS prevention was conducted among 840 rural residents from 28 villages in 14 towns of the county in Sep. 2005. Results It was found that the rate of knowledge about AIDS among rural residents in Dayao county was 52.86%, with no statistical difference in the rate between males and females. It was identified that the rate increased with an increasing level of education and it was higher among people of Han nationality than among those of other nationalities, there being a statistical difference in the knowledge about AIDS between individual towns. Conclusion The residents in the rural areas in the county are extremely short of the knowledge, attitude and consciousness about the prevention and treatment of AIDS. It is imperative to introduce health education about AIDS that are applicable to the mountain rural areas in China.
