摘要
从存在主义女权理论的视角对《欢乐之家》中女主人公莉莉.巴特悲剧再审视,可以看到,在男权社会中,女性在经济、文化上对男性的依赖以及由此而造成的女性他者地位,是引发莉莉悲剧的深层原因;莉莉以"自欺"的方式生活,但她内心的焦虑并未减轻,在经历了积极意义的自我觉醒后,以其生命的毁灭为代价作为对女性他者地位的反叛,使得其悲剧性结局融入了崇高和悲壮。
A View of Lily Bart＇s tragedy in The House of Mirth from the perspective of existentialist feminism shows that the deep reason of her tragedy lies in her economic and cultural dependence on man and her resultant ＂the other＂ status from this in patriarchal society. The self-deceit did not ease her anxiety . Therefore she betrayed ＂the other＂ status at the cost of her life, thus adding nobility and solemnity to her tragic end.
