Influence of Technology Development on Environment——Discuss from Environmental Kuznets Curve

环境库兹涅茨曲线所展现的经济发展和环境保护的关系是:经济发展开始破坏了环境,但是随着经济发展到一定程度,经济的发展特别是技术的应用能够更好地保护环境。技术发展有其破坏性一面,我们通过对技术的自然属性以及社会属性的分析得出结论:科学技术的发展未必真正能够使得整个人类的环境变好。

The relationship between the economic development and the environmental protection is shown by Environmental Kuznets Curve as follows: economic development does destroy environment at the beginning. However, when it has developed to a certain degree, the development especially the application of technology can protect the environment better. It is true that the development of technology has some destructive effect, therefore, the discussion on science and technology development based on the analysis of the natural property and social property of technology and the discussing of the development of science technology are not necessarily make the world environment better.
