Progress in study of transient neurologic syndrome

暂时性神经综合征是椎管内麻醉所引起的脊神经暂时性功能障碍。其临床表现为术后24 h内出现腰背部持续性疼痛,可放射到双侧臀部和下肢。疼痛区痛觉过敏或感觉迟钝。非甾体类抗炎药可缓解症状。疼痛具有自限性,一般可在2 d～5 d内消退。复原后无永久性运动及感觉神经功能障碍。就其原因可能与局麻药毒性或穿刺过程的机械性损伤有关。

Transient neurologic syndrome （TNS） is defined as transient dysfunction of spinal nerve caused by intra -spinal anesthesia. Patients complain lasting pain in waist and back, which may extend to lower extremities （buttocks, thighs and legs） within postoperative 24 h, and patients experience hyperalgia or bradyesthesia in pain area. Non - steroid anti - inflammatory drugs may be effective to relieve pain. These symptoms are self - limited and usually disappear within 2 to 5 clays for most patients, without pemanent motive and sensitive neurologie dysfunction. These symptoms may be related to toxicity of local anesthetic or mechanical injury during intra - spinal puncture.
