Difference of pain perception between genders

实验和临床研究证据表明疼痛存在着性别方面的差异,其原因是多方面的。对疼痛的感觉、认知、表达的不同都是导致该差异的因素。性激素、神经递质、阿片类内源性镇痛系统均与之密切相关。其中,性别差异的生物学因素探讨最受关注。现将有关疼痛性别差异的一些机制研究综述如下。

Some experimental studies and a lot of clinic evidence support the difference in pain between genders. Many factors account for this phenomena, such as differences in physiological processes, pain recognition and pain expression between genders. Sex hormones, neurotransmitters and endogenous opioid analgesia system are all closely correlated to pain -relevant difference. Particularly, sex hormone is thought to be one of the main factors and has become one of research hot spots. This review summerizes mechanisms of pain difference between genders.
