除氧处理对碳化硼陶瓷性能的影响 被引量:4

摘要 研究了碳化硼粉末除氧处理对样品致密度和力学性能的影响。采用XRD、SEM测试手段对样品的物相组成和显微结构进行分析。结果表明,经过除氧处理后,碳化硼粉末中氧化硼含量由3.25wt%降至0.84wt%。当硼的加入量为11.6wt%时,样品的硬度、断裂韧性、抗弯强度和弹性模量分别可达到34.2GPa、3.91 MPa.m1/2、576.5MPa和420.3GPa,分别比未经除氧处理制得的B4C陶瓷力学性能提高3.95%、10.76%、5.82%和3.70%。 B4C ceramics were prepared by hot-pressing with B4C powder and amorphous boron powder as main materials. The influence of the oxide-eliminating to the density and mechanical properties of the samples were studied in this paper. The phase and microstructure of the samples were also analyzed by XRD and SEM. The results showed that the content of the B2O3 descend from 3.25wt% to 0.84wt% after oxide-eliminated. The values of the hardness, fracture toughness, flexural strength and elastic modulus reached 34.2GPa, 3.91Mpa· m^1/2,576.5MPa and 420.3GPa respectively when the addtion of the boron reached 11.6wt%. Compared with oxide-uneliminated B4C sample, the increment is 119.9%, 48.9% and 28.9% respectively.
