The Limitations of Structuralism and Chomsky's Linguistic Theory

乔姆斯基的生成语法自20世纪50年代创立以来,在语法学界产生了巨大的反响,深刻改变着人们对语言学的看法,过去语言学家认为业已解决的许多问题又重新提出来加以谈论。近年来,我国学者也开始关注乔姆斯基的语言观,并从不同角度进行介绍,但鲜有人将乔姆斯基的语言学理论与结构主义语言观联系起来探讨。

This thesis attempts to explore the relationship between Chomsky from the perspective of linguistics. From the analysis the author concluded that the and Structuralism creation, and the weakest element of Chomsky＇ s grammar that is the semantic component, are closely linked with the limitations of traditional American Structuralism.
