江西是农业大省,加快传统农业向现代农业的转变,对江西具有十分重要的意义。"十五"期间,江西现代农业发展迅速,农业产业化进入了一个崭新阶段,农业科技应用有了新进步,农业结构调整呈现新格局,农业生产能力得到新提高,农民增收拓展了新渠道,但江西农业发展整体水平仍然较低,还需进一步加大农业机械化进程,积极推进农业信息化建设,实施农业标准化工程,发展科技密集型农业,加快发展农村合作组织,发展非农产业,推进农村工业化、城镇化,扩大劳动就业,大力发展有机农业、生态农业,大力推进农业现代化。

Jiangxi is a large agricultural province,so it is significant for Jiangxi to accelerate the transition from the traditional agriculture to the modern agriculture.During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period,the modern agriculture in Jiangxi has received a rapid growth,in which,the agricultural industrialization has gone into a new stage,the application of agricultural science and technology has been further improved,the farming construction adjustment brought into a new pattern,the agricultural productive capacity strengthened and the channels of the income growth of farmers expanded,yet the whole level of the agricultural growth in Jiangxi is still low,so it is necessary to quicken the course of the agricultural mechanization,actively advance the agricultural information,carry out the agricultural standardization,boost the knowledge concentrated agriculture,the rural cooperation and the non-agricultural industry,promote the rural industrialization and urbanization,expand the employment,fully develop the organic and ecological agriculture,and energetically push the agriculture modernization forward.
