使用SQL/XML与XQuery技术发布关系数据

Using SQL/XML and XQuery to publish relational data

随着Web技术的发展,可扩展置标语言(XML)已经迅速成为数据交换的标准。目前绝大部分的业务数据仍然保存在关系数据库系统中,传统的数据库需扩展其功能以支持XML技术。如何在现有的数据库平台上结合运用SQL/XML标准或XQuery技术发布数据,已经成为一个研究热点。结合具体的查询案例,基于Oracle数据库,运用这两种技术进行数据发布,并比较其各自的使用特点。

With the development of web technology, XML is becoming the de facto standard for exchanging data. While most business data are still stored in relational database systems, new functionality is expected from traditional database to support XML technology. How to use the new standard such as SQL/XML or XQuery to publish data on the existing database platform has become a hot focus. Some detailed inquiry cases are illustrated using these two methods with their respective characters listed too to publish relational data based on the Oracle database.
