摘要
通过求解包含外场的自治场方程,研究了液晶物质在外场中的物理性质.得到了包含外场的Landau-deGennes自由能和由微观理论推导出来的Cotton-Mouton常数.同时研究了由外场诱导出的临界现象,并给出了临界参数.
The physical properties of liquid crystals in an external field were investigated by means of solving the equation of a self-consistent field including an external field, Landau-Gennes free energy including an external fieId and Cotton-Mouton constant derived from microscopic theory were obtained. Meanwhile the critical phenomena induced by the external field were studied and the critical parameters were also obtained.
