The Acoustic Expression and Feature of the Short and Long Vowels in Wuming Zhuang Language

本文用实验语音学的方法讨论武鸣壮语长短元音的性质以及长短元音引起的音质变化和基本规则;在此基础上讨论武鸣壮语的音位系统。

This paper discusses the nature of the long and short vowels in Wuming Zhuang Language, the acoustical change and its basic rule caused by long and short vowels, and its universal significance on typology and sound change theory. On this basis, we also reanalysis and make some new amendment to the phonemes system of Wuming Zhuang language.
