《项链》是法国短篇小说巨匠莫泊桑的代表作。作品讲述了女主人翁玛蒂尔德为了一串假项链而付出了十年的心血和艰辛的故事。长期以来,读者及评论者大多关注了主人翁命运中悲剧性的一面,而笔者认为,玛蒂尔德不仅是一个悲剧人物,这一形象同样蕴涵着丰富的喜剧色彩,因此,玛蒂尔德的命运应是悲喜交织。

The Necklace is the representative works of Maupassant. The book tells us a story of the heroine, Mathild Paid ten hard years for a string of a necklace. For a long time, readers and commentators focus on the tragic side of the heroine, but the author thinks that Mathild is not only a tragic heroine as well as a comedy character. Therefore, Mathild＇ s life is a mixture of tragicomic disparity.
