汉语国际教育的目的是汉语文国际教育

The Goal of International Chinese Education

汉语国际教育其实是汉语文国际教育。语言是文化的载体。我国古人往往把“语”和“文”相连使用。形成了具有两千多年的一个术语——语文。汉语国际推广的目的是使国外学习者通过学汉语达到对中国文字、文化、文学、文章技法的把握。所以，我们的汉语国际推广，其实是汉语文推广；我们的汉语教材，其实是汉语文教材；我们的汉语教师，其实是汉语文教师。因此，我们的汉语国际推广教材就应该是汉语载汉文的教材；我们的汉语教师就应该不仅懂汉语，而且是懂汉文字、文化、文学、文章的教师。只有这样，“汉语热”才能“热”得实用，“热”得永久。

International Chinese education covers more than the teaching of the Chinese language. Language is the carrier of culture which our ancestors well understood. The popularization of the Chinese language aims to help the learners of Chinese to grasp not only the Chinese language but also the Chinese writing system, culture and literature. Thus, the TCFL teachers, the relevant textbooks and other teaching materials should take all these factors into consideration for a successful and sustainable ＂Chinese fever＂.
