《中国丛书综录》辨误一则

A Serious Error Found in A Comprehensive Collection of Books in China

赵谦,字谦,明代人。《中国丛书综录》把其名、字误作两人,因而在目录和索引中均分列两处,这与其编例不相一致。同时《中国丛书综录》等失收赵谦《声音文字通》一书,该书现存两个版本。

Hui Qian was the honorific title of Zhao Qian in the Ming Dynasty. But in the book entitled A Comprehensive Collection of Books in China （transcribed as Zhongguo Congshu Zonglu）, they are mistakenly treated as the names of two different persons and therefore appear separately in two places in both the contents and the index of the collection, resulting in disagreement with its compiling system. Besides, a book entitled Shengyin Wenzi Tong （meaning ＂A Comprehensive Discussion on Sound and Chinese Characters＂） written by the scholar is not included in this Collection. So far, two versions of this book have been found.
