Research and Development Tendency on Blood-Brain Barrier with Chinese Herbs and Acupuncture

对血脑屏障影响因素的研究越来越受到人们的关注。通过芳香开窍类等中药及针刺对血脑屏障作用的进展情况进行综述,并提出了该领域的研究方向。认为针刺疗法对血脑屏障的保护及促开放作用有较高的临床应用价值,对针药结合的进一步研究可能为中枢神经系疾病的治疗提供一条新的途径。

The research on factors affecting Blood - Brain Barrier（BBB） is paid more and more attention by most re- searchers. This article summarizes the progressing condition of BBB affected by herbs （such as aroma resuscitative herbs） and acupuncture and point out the researching direction for this field. The acupuncture treatment which has the function of protecting and opening the BBB is supposed to have very high applying value clinically. Further research on the combination of acupuncture and herbs may provide a new way for the treatment of the disease of Central Nervous System.
