Management of New Generation Peasant Workers and Construction of the Harmonious City

新生代农民工在城市社会中形成了一个特殊的社会群体,成为城市产业工人的一部分。他们进城务工的目的不再完全是为了养家糊口,而是想能够融入城市,成为市民。但是他们并没有得到城市社会的接纳和承认,从而导致心理上的不平衡,乃至行动上的对抗,成为城市社会不稳定的重要因素。加强对他们的管理也就成为和谐城市建设的重要内容。

The new generation peasant workers, as a part of urban industrial labor, have formed a special social group. They go to city to work for melting into the city and becoming citizens, not only for supporting their families. However, it is very difficult that they are admitted and acknowledged by the urban society. This results in psychological unbalance and action antagonism which make the city unstable. So, strengthening the management of them should be an important part of constructing the harmonious society.
