In this paper, it was presented that among 102 cases of coronary heart disease complicated with brain infarction collected for nearly 7 years, 88.2 percents were of old people, 70.5 percents were of silent brain infarction, and 82 percents were of multiple lacuna brain infarction. The most of lesions were located at the basal nuclei and deep white matter. The mechanism of coronary heart disease complicated with brain infarction was discussed. The conclusion was that aged people and patients with ischemic heart disease were risk factors of causing silent brain infarction when arterial sclerosis presented.
