西方油画从进入中国的那一天起就开始了民族化的进程。纵观中国油画的民族化道路,可以看出民族油画只有根植于中国民族的审美情趣,才能真正走向成熟。只有立足于中国传统文化、从传统的精粹中汲取营养才是中国民族油画的出路。且不仅仅是绘画题材、绘画技法的民族化,更需要画家对传统文化有较深刻地认识,并能做到师法自用。
