The application of Siemens SIMARIS Design software in checking of low-voltage power distribution system was introduced from several aspects, such as power distribution calculation, selecting protection devices and cables, cooperation of line protection and reactive power compensation, et al. Taking a community project as example,its application was introduced concretely. The software can supply efficient technology support for electrical engineer.
