摘要
对评价全光缓存器的技术指标作了评述,指出数字光缓存器并不仅仅起拷贝作用,而且要满足同步以及读写控制等要求。阐述了前向型、反馈型、SBS慢光型以及光纤光栅等不同结构的光纤型全光缓存器的原理、优缺点以及存在问题,指出目前尚没有任何一种全光缓存器达到比较理想的功能与指标,应该向一个综合的全光缓存系统发展。
An overview about the specification of all-optical buffer is given, and it is pointed out that digital buffer is not only used as a copier of input signals, but also synchronous and can be written and read out. The principles of different kinds of fiber based buffer, including forward type, feedback type, SBS slow light based type, and fiber grating based type, are analyzed, and their advantages and disadvantages are also discussed. It is concluded that there isn' t any all-optical buffer can meet the requirements well in function and index, thus the general all-optical buffer system is the tendency.
