教师的课程能力指在课程这一特定领域,课程实施者(主要指教师)把课程意识转化为课程行为的过程中所表现出来的个性心理特质,这种个性心理特质的表现过程是通过课程资源(包括教科书和其它教育资源)这个媒介,把课程意识转化课程行为的过程。教师课程能力包括教师课程开发能力、教师课程实施能力和教师课程评价能力。教师对课程的驾控能力是关乎课程改革成败的关键所在。培养和发展教师对课程的驾控能力要尽可能从教师课程意识的提高;教师主体性和能动性的充分发挥;教师评价体系的改善和教师课程能力发展支撑性体系的构建四个方面入手。
