The stability of a society involves a good many factors of various domains of the society. Western countries＇ experience in maintaining the social stability includes strengthening the common belief and value of the society based on the development of economy; promoting the equilibrium of the social structure; guaranteeing the social stability by the constitution and law. What we can learn form the Western countries is that based on the development of economy, applying multifold measures, the government can construct a mechanism to maintain the social stability.
