高师地理教育在社会主义市场经济条件下，已很难满足社会发展对高质量地理人才的需求．因此，必须从根本上转变教育观念，有成效地改革原有的办学体制与陈旧的课程结构；加强社会建设急需的区域性、综合性、技术性及应用系列课程建设；改变现有师资状况。

Under the socialist market economics system,geography education cant meet the demand of social development for highly qualified students .The original system of running schools and educational concepts and the old corriculum structure must be reformed efficiently to Strengthen the regional,synthetical,technical and applied series courses for social construction and change the situation of poor teaching staff and lack of development.
