广东甜玉米和蔬菜品种在菲律宾示范种植试验初报

Preliminary report on the demonstration test for some varieties of sweet corn and vegetables from Guangdong in Philippines

广东省部分甜玉米和蔬菜品种在菲律宾吕宋岛示范种植试验结果表明:在菲律宾,甜玉米品种粤甜9号的综合性状较好,耐热性强、产量较高,比当地主栽品种先甜75增产15.6%;豇豆品种珠豇3号、油青豆角和苦瓜品种油绿3号的适应性强、商品性好、产量高,分别比当地主栽品种增产322.5%、173.7%和93.9%;番茄品种东方红1号比当地品种Apollo增产54.1%;辣椒品种广椒2号和广椒9号的果形美观、产量较高,具有一定的推广潜力。

The results showed that the complex characteristics and heat tolerance of Yuetian No.9 sweet corn variety were better than that of other varieties. The yield of Yuetian No.9 was 15.6% more than that of Sugar 75 , the local main planted variety. The string bean varieties Zhujiang No.3 and Youqing, as well as the bitter gourd Youlu No.3 had strong adaptability, good marketability and high yield. The yields of these three varieties were increased by 322.5%, 173.7% and 93.9% over their the local main planted varieties, respectively. The yield of tomato Dongfanghong No.1 was increased by 54.1% over the local variety Apollo. The pepper varieties Guangjiao No.2 and No.9 exhibitted high yield and good fruit shape, having the potentiality of extension in Philippines.
