Legal Eglish is the English of professional law. They are legal documents written in English. Legal English is different from other types of English. Legal English has its own features. They have long and complex sentences, standard lexicon, precise text structure and a lot of borrowed words and archaic words. Therefore, legal document translation is the most difficult among all translation practice. This paper tries to achieve the correctness and the communicative function of legal translation through functional equivalence.
