摘要
照明系统作为投影仪的重要组成部分,对于整个系统的亮度和均匀度起着决定性作用。本文提出了一种特殊的复合抛物面聚光器(Compound Parabolic Concentrator,CPC)作为回复反射器微型投影仪照明系统,目的在于利用CPC特殊的几何结构对UHP(Ultra High Performance)光源发出的部分光线进行收集循环利用,以提高整个系统的光能利用率。通过在Tracpro软件中建立整个单片式LCOS微型投影仪照明系统进行光线模拟,结果表明:使用特殊CPC回复反射器以后,投影到屏幕上的能量提高约为单纯利用椭球形反光碗收集光线时的两倍。
Illumination system which is an important component of projection display system determines the brightness and the uniformity of the whole system. In this paper, a simple illumination system with a special Compound Parabolic Concentrator (CPC) as retro-reflector is proposed. The goal of this design is to enhance the light efficiency of the entire system by collecting and recycling light with the special geometry structure of CPC. And a lot of light is traced in the illuminator with special CPC retro-reflector for single LCOS panel micro-display constructed in Tracepro. The simulated result shows that the flux on the screen with the scheme proposed in this paper is about twice times than that of the scheme with single elliptical reflector to collect light.
