A Brief Analysis of Present Situation of City Streets Construction and Possible Suggestions

城市街道是最直观体现城市形象和城市空间形态的重要窗口,它是联系城市社会生活的纽带,是城市文化的体现,它除了应该满足最基本的交通功能外,还应为人们提供美好的视觉感受、开放的交往空间,方便的生活设施以及承载历史文化展示的责任,因而城市街道的作用也显得越加重要。本文通过在城市街道建设现状分析的基础上,对探讨创造出具有个性、功能完善、管理人性化、回归自然的城市街道提出了几点建议。

As an important directly - perceived embodiment of city image and city space forms, city streets are the reflection of city culture, linking with city social life, besides the most fundamental traffic function, they also provide fine visual appreciation, open communicative space and convenient life facilities while bearing the responsibility of representing historical culture. The role of city streets, therefore, becomes more and more important. Based on brief analysis of present situation of city streets construction, the paper presents several suggestions on probing into creating city streets with the nature returning, the functions perfecting and the management humanized.
