摘要
现阶段对委婉语的研究主要停留在传统的符号语义学和语用学基础上,难以揭示委婉语的本质,并且把人的认知能动性排除在外。委婉语的委婉性并不是符号本身所特有的,它涉及到人类对委婉语的认知处理,抛开认知推理就无法真正地了解其实质。认知语言学的发展,为揭示委婉语的实质提供了理论工具和新视角。
In the present stage, the studies on euphemism were mainly in the field of rhetoric, literature and stylistics, which failed to reveal the essence of euphemism. However, cognitive linguistics, provide a new perspective view and tool to the analysis of euphemism. This paper illustrates euphemism＇s generative mechanism and accurate comprehension from the cognitive perspective view in order to further our interpretation and application of euphemism.
