The background and main subjects are introduced in this paper, including the IAEA role in supporting uranium production cycle, public involvement and social responsibility, waste management and decommissioning of uranium mining area in Saskatchewan, Canada, and uranium mining waste management and decommissioning of Ranger mine in Australia.
