SWOT分析法是通过了解自己组织的优势与弱势的基础上,将组织内部资源因素与外部因素造成的机会与风险进行合理有效的匹配,从而制定良好的战略,以掌握外部机会、规避威胁的一种经济管理学方法。因其自身独特的思考性质和方法,正在为城市规划研究领域逐步借鉴。文章通过对SWOT分析法的应用和总结,对上海市南汇区的城市战略发展进行相关的分析研究。

According to the introduction of the characteristics of SWOT-analyses and the illustration of the cases in Nanhui District, the paper studies the important application of SWOT-analyses in urban planning and urban design, especially in strategic analyses and policy-making. The authors have a dream that the SWOT- analyses of Strategic Development of Urban Planning will be helpful to promote the strategic development of urban planning in Nanhui District of Shanghai.
