相对于西方国家而言,以及相对于社会的经济文化而言,政治在中国的社会生活中有着特殊的重要性。作为一种历史,中国政治学的命运与现实政治的变迁息息相关;作为一种科学,中国政治学已经从"伪科学"发展成为一门拥有独特的概念、方法、公理和逻辑的独立科学;作为一种知识,中国政治学已经成为人们认识政治发展规律不可或缺的工具;作为一种职业,中国政治学已经拥有一支数量不小的专业研究和教学队伍;作为一种事业,中国政治学的发展对推进政治文明和社会进步起到了重要作用。瞻望未来,中国政治学将成为世界政治文明的重要组成部分。

The article makes a systematic comment on the development of Chinese political science in different perspectives. The author summarizes the major achievements of Chinese political science with his critical analysis. According to the author, as a history, the fate of Chinese political science has much to do with the political changes in reality; as a science, Chinese political science has been no longer a ＂fake sci ence＂ but become an independent science with its own concepts, axioms, methodology and logic; as a knowledge, Chinese political science has contributed a lot to Chinses people＇s political participation; as a profession, Chinese political science has attracted great numbers of scholars who are teaching and studying politics; and as a cause, Chinese political science has played more and more important role in pushing forward democracy and rule of law in China.
