论《岭南逸史》的小说类属和文史意义

The History of South of the Five Ridges is a volume type of traditional Chinese novel with each chapter headed by a couplet giving the gist of its content appearing the middle of Qing Dynasty. Somebody criticizes it is a historical novel, somebody criticizes it is a genius and beauty novel, and somebody criticizes it is a young heroes and heroines novel. By commenting on it, I think that it is classified into the young heroes and heroines novel. This thought is right. The History of South of the Five Ridges ought to need to be studied seriously, because of its value on Chinese novel history and history of Hakka＇s literature.
