Approach to Urban-rural Modernization of Zhangliagang

本文从城市现代化、乡村城市化两方面考察张家港市城乡现代化进程，以建立有张家港市特色的城市形态，即合理发展小城镇，形成疏密相间、大小不等，葡萄串式的城镇群．使其成为既具有大城市生活质量，又具备小城市田园风光的生态城市．并提出了一系列对策，探索一条具有中国特色的城乡建设之路．

This article introduces a futural urban form of Zhangjiagang(in Jiangsu province) which combines its regional geographic environment, exiting built environment and ideal urban agglomeration of planning goal. For the purpose of finding a suitable road of urban and rural modernization in China, the authors try to illustrate this ecological urban form in which the residents have both advantages in metropolis and in small cities,
