This paper presents that the ＂Yue＂ in ancient China was a form of complex culture of music, dancing, poems and etiquettes. It has a close relationship with social life, such as agriculture and politics. The style and idea of ＂Yue＂ show the core category of ancient Chinese philosophy -- ＂harmony＂, which has great impact on Chinese culture.
