汉民族的“莲”有着独特的内涵:自《诗经》以来的诗词书画中频繁出现“莲”;佛儒道三教不约而同地赏识“莲”;在人们的婚丧嫁娶包括日常生活中也常会有“莲”的身影。汉民族的莲是爱情、故乡情、艺术美和宗教美的代言物。

In Han nationality euhure,lotus has distinctive meanings： since The Book of Odes came forth, lotus appeared frequently in the poems and paintings. Buddhism, Confucianism and Taoism all show their appreciation to lotus. Lotus appears often in our daily life, for example, marriage and funeral, etc. Lotus in Han nationality is the representation of love, country passion, beauty of art and religion.
